Porterhouse Steak/Scotch Fillet

Porterhouse steak or scotch fillet roast recipe can either be barbequed or fried in a pan. Bring the steaks to room temperature and pat them with paper towel to dry them. Season with salt and pepper. Heat up the pan and add a small amount of oil to the pan. Make sure the pan is hot before adding the steak. Once brown on one side, turn the heat down and cook until desired doneness. Upon removal, let the meat rest for 5-10 minutes to let the juices redistribute in the meat.
