McKays Family Butchers Online Delivery Terms

McKays Family Butchers is excited to launch a new online delivery service designed to bring the same premium-quality meat and service straight to your door.

Delivery Times

We currently deliver every Wednesday and Friday between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm.

Delivery Areas

  • Free delivery is available on orders over $100 within selected suburbs of Melbourne.
  • A $15 delivery fee applies for orders outside our designated delivery zones.
  • Please contact us if you’re unsure whether your suburb is included.

Delivery Process

  • Each order is hand-cut fresh and packed the day before your scheduled delivery.
  • You will receive an order confirmation email once your order has been placed.
  • Meat delivery must be signed for upon delivery.
  • Our drivers will knock or ring the bell/intercom upon arrival to ensure handover.

2. Missed Deliveries

If you are not home at the time of delivery:

  • Our driver will attempt to contact you by phone or SMS.
  • If there is no response, your order will be returned to the store.
  • You must pick up your order within 24 hours of the attempted delivery.

Please note:

  • No redeliveries will be made.
  • No refunds will be issued for missed deliveries.
  • McKays cannot accept requests for specific delivery times. The delivery ETA provided on the day is the only available window.

3. Delivery Instructions

Please provide clear delivery instructions at checkout, especially if your address is:

  • An apartment
  • A unit
  • A secure building

Be sure to include:

  • Access codes
  • Intercom details
  • Any additional notes to ensure successful delivery

4. Product Responsibility

Once delivered, the customer is responsible for the safety and proper storage of the meat. Please ensure someone is home to accept the delivery.

Our online store offers a selection of our most popular products, but does not include our entire in-store range.

If the product you’re looking for:

  • It is not available online, or
  • It shows as out of stock
